Continual pavement parking damages our pavements. We know damaged pavements are an issue in Eynsham and it seems to be nationwide. Several radio programmes have highlighted the bad state of our pavements and the cost to the ratepayer, not only of the repairs but the compensation paid to people who trip over. I want to see councillors, highways people, police etc making a concerted effort to get the message over to drivers that parking on pavements is just not acceptable. It affects us all.

DAMAGING
